About a year ago I fell into Getty's trap. I obtained a collage website banner that had two tiny Getty images. I thought I had obtained it in good faith. For the last year I have been battling Getty with correspondence asking for reasonable proof and a reasonable settlement. Both requests have been ignored. I have received only threats. I have used the last six months trying to get educated about this situation through this site. Today I received a letter citing examples of individuals who have been sued for millions over a single image. The letter ended with THIS IS YOUR FINAL WARNING. Has anyone yet encountered this letter and what is Getty's next step after this letter if it is ignored or if you state that you refuse to pay. - Furious Dude

Could you share this letter with us so we could see it? I am not aware of a Getty letter that cited cases where millions were won over a single image.
Did this come from Getty or McCormack?
If you don't want to post it publicly could you email it to me at [email protected] and I will look at it and respond to you.
Thanks
