I am informing everyone that Getty Images/Picscout License Compliance Services are now implementing LiveChat popup windows were a staff member offers to assist any visitor to the infringement case link.
I was helping someone look at their case and a LiveChat popup window with a support agent's name came up to offer me "assistance".
Essentially, they are tracking visitors to any particular claim and trying to initiate direct communication with any website visitor. So beware of this.
I would tell everyone to get the screenshots you need and then don't visit any more than necessary.

This is new and interesting, any idea how long this has been going on?
-
I periodically check on individual cases for people who pay for ELI Support Calls.
My best guess that this has been in effect only this year, probably the last few months at most.

yeah i saw this yesterday as well..my guess is the troll on the other end did not like my reply, when they asked if I needed assistance with my claim ID number. : )

Tell me more, any screen captures of the conversation....I hope

It's also very easy to clear your cookies in the browser. Chrome lets you easily search through them. Also, you can use a private window in Chrome and nothing gets saved. The exception of course would be your IP address but those things change often enough it's probably not a big deal.

They certainly know that someone somewhere, looked at a specific claim, by clicking on the link in the demand letter email, and chances are it would not be a random click if you know what I mean.

I don't know - I might want to randomly click thru claims just to make the trolls life harder.
They might think they have a "live one" on the line, and all it is, is bored people like me trying to see what they are up to next.

I think it was the part where I mentioned something along the lines of "sucking my hairy sweaty balls" that put him/her over the edge..there's your visual for the day..
