I just bumped my ongoing list of public domain images in this forum. But it is at:

Also, if you want to license an image at an affordable price, I would agree with Greg and encourage you to look at http://www.pond5.com.

I spoke with representatives at two trade shows and both times they said they don't participate in image trolling. One sales rep said something along the lines of: "We provide images at a very affordable price, and suing potential customers is not in our business model." Or something like that.

Hello.  Not sure how best to proceed.  Here is summary:  Started company late last year.  Constructed website.  Placed image on website that was previously sent to me by someone else on an investment brochure.  2 weeks after launching website received letter from Masterfile.  They initially asked for $1860.  I removed image immediately (mage was up for less than 30 days).  I didn't respond and a few months later Master file offered to settle for $750.  I didn't respond.  I am now receiving correspondence from Tyra Hughley asking for $3500.  My Company has not made any money and it never will.  I will likely dissolve Company soon.  Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Well if you plan on dissolving the company anyway, there is no way they can sue that company, depending on who you set it up, would determine if they could come at you personally.

I will have many letters , I am receiving my annual complaint letters from the WSAG, once I have them all, remove the fluff and integrate them into my ongoing statistics they will all be made available.

I didn't remember the name and didn't see her on the list so I added her.

On another note maybe we should add Scott Wilsdon to the list.  I have a complaint where he was going after a guy on behave of Getty telling him it was his last chance to pay before he filed a lawsuit on behave of Getty.  The company in question was a pest control company.  The problem is both the pest control company and their lawyer both told Getty and Wilsdon that the image in question was on a mock up page from a web design company salesmans pitch. They didn't onw the site, the picture or have anything to do with it but because it had the company name on it Getty then Wilsdon kept going after them even though they had nothing to do with the page or image.  In my opinion it sounds like Wilsdon is trolling to me and should be added to the list. 

What do you think Robert?
