$75.00??? Is Getty having a Holiday special or have they perhaps seen the light, and returned to this planet?
Most questions have already been addressed in the forums, get yourself educated before making decisions.

Any advice is strictly that, and anything I may state is based on my opinions, and observations.

Wow! I would be much more inclined to go along with a reasonable fee such as $75 as opposed to the $5520.00 that was demanded of me.

The $75 has to be a typo. Can that really be right?  No one has ever heard of such a small settlement amount.

I'm a non-lawyer but not legally ignorant either. Under the 1st Amendment, I have the right to post facts & opinions using rhetorical hyperbole, colloquialisms, metaphors, parody, snark, or epithets. Under Section 230 of CDA, I'm only responsible for posts I write, not what others write.

Bonus bucks in time for the holiday season...now they are calling instead??? All involving VKT & HAN!!!!!!!  Thanks to ELI...they are finally being exposed in what seems to be a very organised & intricate web-trap  for unsuspecting victims & unknowing innocent infringers. This is entrapment & whoever is seeding the freewallpaper sites whom are associated with VKT & HAN  also need to be exposed. There are probably 100 times more monthly demand letters being handed out than we know of via the same duo whilst they grow their bank accounts...What really gets me the most is that they seem to be going after naive people who would never consider willingly infringing on another artists work. It's a nasty spider web...  These free wallpaper sites are luring people into committing infringement crimes that they would not normally have committed had they known the images were not really free as advertised. I'll bet most settlement demand letter victims have no record of prior crimes.

I am sure it is $750.00 a rather standard Getty demand amount. Besides, if it is $75.00 why would you even bother to discuss it?
