Friends,

I just created a petition entitled Stop Getty Extortion Letters: Boycott Getty Images and iStockPhoto, because I care deeply about this very important issue.

I'm trying to collect 100 signatures, and I could really use your help.

Could you include Masterfile in your petition as well?  I will gladly sign it if so.

I will sign it as well. But if you are making a change to include Masterfile, can you also change it from first-person singular (I, me) to first-person plural (we, us, or "the undersigned"). I bet you'd get more signatures if you used a petition service that just asked for name and email. Some people are (understandably) shy about revealing their identity. I'm not, but some are.

Good point mcfilms. If the traffic on this site is any indication, you should get to 100 signatures quickly.

I think  this is a great idea, hopefully the Op will return with an update, or perhaps someone will draft a new petition..Between the users here and blasted it across FB and a couple of other outlets it would well exceed 100 in no time.
