Newbie question

Hey, folks!  I noticed on that my blog (a completely noncommercial venture; I haven't made a dime and haven't tried to do so) received a few visits from the picscout web site? 

I got a little paranoid and took down a couple dozen images that I got from creative commons sites and I know I have never taken images from Getty or from any other stock image platform. 

Do the visits from ops.picscout.com mean that I will get a letter?  May get a letter?

Thanks for forming such a great community...here's hoping I won't have to become more strongly acquainted with this stuff!

You may get a letter if Pic-Scout has been there.  You should also go and make sure there are no copies of the pages on the Wayback machine too.

ops.picscout.com visiting means it looked at whatever it loaded. You would only get a letter if 'it' concludes that image matches something in the inventory of whoever hired picscout to visit. Your image might not be in their inventory. (Mostly, getty uses picscout, but others could.)

Flat out Getty owns picscout, but there are plenty of other companies /trolls using the services.. the list on the link below is likely outdated and likely much longer now..
