so I guess now if you own a bar /restaurant, cafe or whatever, and you want to have a live band, you are not permitted to allow that band to play any cover songs from other artists?? WTF?
Copyright lawsuit filed against 202 Market
The suit claims there were live performances of music without a license or permission.
A downtown Roanoke restaurant is facing a copyright infringement lawsuit for hosting live music acts that performed the songs of various popular artists, from Johnny Cash to The White Stripes.
202 Market was named in a lawsuit filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Roanoke.
