Background images?
« on: July 11, 2013, 01:24:43 AM »
When I started building web sites several years ago, the trend was to use background images that your web-building program would tile. It looked sharp but as time went on they fell out of vogue.

My question is, has Getty (or anybody else) ever tried to recover damages for the use of any of these background images?

yes they have...backgrounds, headers, icons, any images are subject..
Most questions have already been addressed in the forums, get yourself educated before making decisions.

Any advice is strictly that, and anything I may state is based on my opinions, and observations.

I have also seen where PicScout will pick up just a small part of an image that has been used as part of a background image.

I have seen cases where they find a tiny snippet of an image used as part of a banner collage. Its a helluva program

It really stops and makes you wonder if there's some cross-pollination with the NSA!
