I got my Getty Letter yesterday

I received a letter from Getty yesterday over a picture that I got off a free website template with a picture of the @ sign on it.  Getty stated that it belonged to them and I must pay them $875.00 now .. So I did research and found the owner Mark Getty's Affiliations and E-Mailed him, found the guy that took the picture that lives in Germany, found the board of the group that owns part of Getty and E-Mailed them ....   took me like 13 hours to get all the info on them .. Also found a reverse image search engine at http://www.tineye.com/ and http://images.google.com/ that you can do a reverse lookup of your picture by a upload and it will tell who else is using the same pic...  after doing all that it hit me ... they did a screenshot of my site even with that picture .. wouldn't that screen shot be breaking laws since I did not give them permission to make a copy of my website?

This idea was tossed around a while back, I can't find the thread at the moment, but think it was stated this would not constitute copyright infringement. But the following post is somewhat related and deals with the manner in which GI finds the images...
