Is this response too harsh?
« on: February 04, 2011, 11:09:05 AM »
“You contacted me in November 2010 saying I got a copyrighted picture on my site which I immediately removed.

Now you want me to pay for that 81x103 pixel, bad quality and highly compressed image. It had no watermark nor any exif information.

Where do you store the screen dump of my site, which is clearly copyrighted, and where I am on the front. On how many computers have you shown this picture?
I have not given you permission to use any picture of me anywhere.

Since you are on a long fishing campaign trying to scare people acting like police, judge and executioner at your own discretion I can only tell you to f..k off.”

Yes, it makes you look bad. You can make a strong statement and your points without using profanity.
I'm a non-lawyer but not legally ignorant either. Under the 1st Amendment, I have the right to post facts & opinions using rhetorical hyperbole, colloquialisms, metaphors, parody, snark, or epithets. Under Section 230 of CDA, I'm only responsible for posts I write, not what others write.
