Kirstie Alley Sued Over Weight-Loss Supplement
« on: July 24, 2012, 09:13:27 PM »
yeah I know off topic..

The former Fat Actress star also said during appearances on QVC and in online promotional materials that a weight-loss product called Organic Liaison helped her drop 100 pounds.
But now a disgruntled dieter has taken it upon herself (and whoever wants to join her would-be class-action suit) to prove that Alley and the supplement maker have engaged in "nothing more than a healthy deception" to get people to buy their product—and that Alley literally danced her butt off.

This may tick of some folks, but everyone should these "supplements", diet plans" are all gimmicks, for christs sake if you want to loose weight hows about this:
EAT LESS & MOVE MORE

end of rant...carry on

My thoughts were the same as yours until my wife started one of these gimmicks. She has lost 40 lbs in the last 4 months. I guess I was wrong.

Except when we are right, which just happens to be NEVER!

FYI- purchasing and reading diet books and nutritional books, doesn't do a damn bit of good if all you do is sit yous ass on the couch and read them...just sayin..

God...I'm going to have to get out of the Getty forums more often. Look what I missed! Lessons on weight loss and the trials and tribulations of marriage!

Toooooo funny!

very simply, cause you were right, which is according to how the female brain thinks is just wrong..further supporting the notion, that even when we're right, we're wrong, which is why we find ourselves using the mantra "yes dear"

Since I've been told by my old lady blushing bride of 40+ years to spend more time bringing out my inner woman and less time being a chauvinistic swine, I'm not going to enter into this discussion other than to say I support whatever Peeved has to say in this thread!

Robert, I couldn't even get a calf through the elastic body band of my petite little woman's undies, much less one of my massive man thighs!

And to return this thread to a serious note, I wonder if Jessica Simpson is in for a legal battle given that she's apparently earning approximately $4,000,000 from Weight Watchers to lose the 70+ pounds she put on while pregnant.

Is a law suit in the works if she fails to lose at the contracted rate?

Finally, now that my friend Robert has called me a "suck up" and questioned my male chauvinist pig creds, I point any fellow swine reading this to view Jessica Simpson's body evolution at

http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-body/pictures/jessica-simpsons-body-evolution-201297/23569

I admit to particular fondness over Image No. 4. Or, as some were said to have said during the Spanish Inquisition: "What a rack!"
