Is there away to find out without having to contact Masterfile?   Should I assume if the artist is the same for all the images there is a good chance that all the images we're copyrighted as a compilation?

I wanted to know what is the best way to search the copyright database to determine if an image was copyrighted as a compilation?  The only information I have is the Mastefile Image Number and Artist name?

Does anyone know of another site besides archive.org that archives website content?   Besides going through archive.org, is there any other way Getty or Masterfile can gain access to what was on a site in the past?  I heard there was away to get cached content of your website via google?

Thanks,
John

Actually it only takes about 2-3 business days for your site to be removed once you have the robots.txt file setup.

It looks like we have to put in a robots.txt file in the root directory of our website and then submit our site to be crawled..  From what I read it can take 8+ weeks for the site to be crawled.  Does anyone know of a faster way to get our site removed?

How did you get archive.org to remove your sites?  Did you email them or did you have to submit your site on a specific page?
