I'm another recipient of a Masterfail letter! Received it via FedX on April 4, 2013, claiming I should pay $1,900 for a VERY tiny image that was part of a small 2X2 collage of four different images that was used on my website I had just started for my small company. Of course, I immediately took down the image and researched MF online. I did not respond, as I felt that was best at that point. This image was extremely tiny and like I said, was 1 of 4 images in a tiny little square!
NOW, they have NCS sending me a letter. As a company, I believe I cannot send the FDC letter. However, I do not plan to pay. It's completely ridiculous!
I'm pretty sure they turned it over to NCS so quickly because they don't have much of a leg to stand on. Not sure if ignoring them is the right thing to do but paying $1,900 is definitely not an option for me!!
