I've got another month before my SOL, and obsessively check Justia every day,  to see if they filed. Would you happen to know if a case will show up on Justia dockets, prior to them knocking on your door with papers ??
Just looking for an opportune time for a "vacation"..

Got my first Getty letter (with 4 followup McCormacks) on exactly the same month, 11/13. Ive been completely dark from the get go, and aint heard nuthin since. Im going to stay dark, and in the meantime treat myself to  a followup support call w/Matthew to orient myself to tactics that will put the kabosh on any judgement that could go against me in the unlikely event.
Like you, Im gettin close, and realize that my SOL isnt up for another 9 mos, and that most lawsuits are filed in that 3rd year.  I highly recommend that you also consult w/Matthew down the final stretch, at the very least you"ll get the peace of  mind of having  some aces in the hole.  Hopefully we'll both cross the finish line unscathed..

Can I place an advance order ??   It would be soo satisfying to know that even with the paper wins they won't end up with Jack Sh##. This fail safe back up maneuvering by the little guy ever becomes common knowledge,  it will do  more to threaten the copyright troll species with extinction than all the "'negative " PR combined. They need to know that they will likely end up with nada even if they "win"  a judgement. The sooner the better Matthew...

In the unlikely event you get sued, an incur some outrageous judgement, even in the hundreds of thousands, it can all be readily discharged via Chapter 7 in most states, so I've been reassured by several bankruptcy attorneys.  Nice to have that ace in the hole if things ever got out of hand. So even if they win big, they can still wind up losing...

Damn Joe-  to look down the barrel of a 54-image infringement and not flinch takes a major pair. Your account sums it up beautifully, and (with no guarantees) gives me a tremendous amount of vicarious satisfaction.

I have personally been the proud recipient of 2 Getty Letters and 3 followup McCormacks  for a 3 image infringement. a phone consult with Matthew put me back on the road to sanity. Ive given them zero response or acknowledgement..  may use Oscar's Letter program, haven't decided yet.

Having watched McCormack in action at Matthew's hearing (what a kook, invoking cross burnings in GA in front of African-American justices) helped put my mind at ease, and your account is the absolute icing on the cake, and so succinctly sums it up, that it deserves its own page.
